Kenya Nuclear Electricity Board staff Mr. Brian Nyawinda was feted for an outstanding concept for a sustainable future project in the just concluded 19th World Festival of youth and students held in October 2017 in Sochi, Russia. The festival brought together youths from all over the world who were tasked to come up a project that will solve a problem the world in the future.

On 4th December 2017, Kenya Nuclear Electricity (KNEB) hosted a public dialogue with Kenya electricity consumers on nuclear electricity development in Kenya in collaboration with Consumer Federation of Kenya (COFEK) at Laico Regency Hotel in Nairobi.
The Kenya Nuclear Electricity Board wishes to inform our stakeholders the appointment of Eng. Collins Juma as the Chief Executive Officer of Kenya Nuclear Electricity Board with effect from 1st August 2017 following a competitive recruitment process.
Eng. Collins Juma, has been the Acting chief Executive officer since 22nd December, 2015. He previously served as Director, Technical Affairs at KNEB in the past four years. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Mechanical) from the Indian Institute of Technology and a Masters degree in Operations Management from the University of Nairobi.
